Membership
Membership is currently available to all. Club membership runs for 12 months from the date of purchase and will automatically renew each year.
Under 16’s can become a member for FREE at any of the tackle shops listed below or via the LBA HQ.
Membership offers fishing at 4 sections of the River Irwell, one section of the River Croal plus all of the Manchester Bury and Bolton canal (except bolton arm ) and The Rochdale Canal 51 Blue pits Highest to the Bridge 73 Oldham Rd A62. Please note that fishing at LBA HQ & River Roch is by appointment only. Please contact our Chairman Eric Owen to organise. See Club Waters for more detail.
You can join our club online or in person by calling in to one of these tackle shops:

- Fisherman’s Way, Bury
- Absolute Angling, Middleton
Alternatively you can arrange to meet with Eric Owen (Chairman) or Mick Dodman (Vice Chairman) at our HQ. Please contact us to organise a convenient time.
When joining online, please ensure you upload a photo clearly displaying your face only (like a passport photo). This photo will be printed on your membership card so must be a true & current representation of yourself.
*Your membership will not be valid without a suitable photo*
The membership card will be delivered to your home address and may take up to two weeks to arrive. Please use your membership confirmation email as proof of purchase in the interim.
*When fishing club waters, ALL anglers must be in possession of a current Environment Agency Rod Licence, and be able to present it to Bailiffs if requested.
